Sustainability Issues: This project aims to address SDG #7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) by providing alternate financing to fund solar electrification of remote African population. One of the objectives of this SDG is to ensure universal access to affordable, reliable and modern energy service. Many remote parts of Sub-Sahara African countries such as Rwanda and Zambia, have thin electrification rates, despite healthy exposure to sunlight.
Blockchain Solution: The platform will provide low cost finance for the deployment of solar home systems to communities across Africa and will allow participants to stake Energy Web Tokens (EWT) in exchange …
